AA Appliances is a small appliance rental company, dedicated to offering good products at excellent prices along with exceptional service.

We are a family business, where the customer comes first, and we will wherever possible do anything to ensure the customer needs are met, with regard to products, delivery times, and replacement of any faulty equipment.

Michael who runs the business on a day to day basis, has worked in the rental industry in Christchurch for nearly 20 years, and has gained considerable experience over this period, in regard to product reliability, and customer needs.

We do not service any appliances in the home, should an appliance become faulty, a call to us, and we will replace the appliance as soon as possible, and have you operational again.


We have a selection of appliances across all ages, enabling us to offer products in various price bracket to suit your needs, from budget washing machines at $20 a month through to later model electronic machines at $28.00 per months, This is repeated in the all other product models.

We offer both long and short term hire on all appliances from one day through to whenever. With short term hire the customer has the option to pick up the item under certain circumstances such as out of town deliveries etc.
All long term hires are delivered and where applicable installed

To keep our costs down so that we can maintain competitive prices on our appliances, we do not operate a showroom. Should you want to view an appliance before it is delivered, we can arrange to meet you at our warehouse and show you the various product options, or bring out 2-3 different items at time of delivery for you to choose.

All our payments for convenience are made by automatic payment on a fortnightly or monthly basis. This makes it easier for us and you our customer to ensure the payments are made on a regular basis and these can be set up to work on days that suit you such as pay day etc.
